Working in a state - of - the - art pharmacy
distribution center, the Pharmacy Shipping Clerk is responsible for the
proper packing and shipping of home delivery prescriptions for our
members to insure contents arrive safely and on-time.

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) with
current hours of work are 2pm - 11:30pm; Monday - Friday. It may be
necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or
weekends. Our office is located at 1050 Patrol Road, Jeffersonville, IN
47130. Primary Responsibilities:

Uses multiple computer systems to obtain pharmacy orders, compares to order received and produces mailing labelsUtilizes best method for product packing and shipping
based on standard procedures to include type of packaging, unique
conditions (i.e. refrigeration), etc. to insure safe and secure delivery
of patients prescription order.Prepares manual prescription orders by verifying
information, pulls appropriate drugs from inventory, completes necessary
scanning and packages as necessaryCommunicates with other team members when questions
arise on orders to insure accuracy, quality and on-time delivery are
maintainedResponsible for maintaining various machines and
equipment (e.g. IPD machines, auto packing machines) to include routine
maintenance, recalibration and resolving mechanical problems


High School Diploma / GED (or higher) Demonstrated ability in using computer and Windows PC
applications, which includes strong keyboard and navigation skills and
learning new computer programsAll new hires will be required to successful complete Pharmacy Operations training and demonstrate proficiency of the material
1+ years prior experience in shipping / receiving but not required
